Game Description & Reviews:

@nmol rates this game: 5/5

This is by far the best DBZ ever to be released. If you have played Budokai 3 and Tenkaichi then you can see Tenkaichi 2 as a mix of those two games. In story mode you can now fly freely wherever you want and you can set the battles to three difficulty levels. There is now also an tag-team battle in versus mode. For example; if you choose Goku and Vegeta you can use the tag option to do the fusion technique and become Gogeta. Fancycache keygen. And you can transform into Super Saiyan whenever you want to if you have unlocked that ability. There are now all characters of Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Dragonball GT and the movies so you have a lot of characters to make your favorite. You can also create an custom character for example; pick Vegeta and upgrade his speed,ki,strength, etc. And you can choose if you want to have your character to be the best in: hand-to-hand-combat, beams or overall. And there are many other options you can choose from!

This game has unused animations.
This game has unused graphics.
This game has unused sounds.
This game has regional differences.

Please elaborate.
Having more detail is always a good thing.
Specifically: Pretty much everything in here needs more detail.
To do:
  • Document the PlayStation 2 Japanese demo version.
  • Regional Differences:
    • Compare music between Japanese and Western versions.
    • Compare language select screen between European and American releases of the game.
  • See if there's any leftovers from the first 2 Budokai Tenkaichi games that's unused, if any.
  • Check if there are any leftover icons from the Wii version. (They're probably there, likely hidden between the button icons.)
  • Search for unused characters left in the game.
  • Look for unused strings of code.
  • Differences between PS2 and Wii versions.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is the third installment of the Budokai Tenkaichi series. Like its predecessor, Budokai Tenkaichi 3 essentially touches upon all series installments of the Dragon Ball franchise. The game also features Arale Norimaki, one of Akira Toriyama's characters from the series Dr. Slump.

Unused Animations

Animations are handled by a global ID in the game, meaning all characters can be forced to do an animation. Whether or not they actual have the animation coded in is another matter. Coldplay full konser paris.

Teleport Special Attack 1

Teleporting special attacks are present in the game as a global animation ID. Only certain characters can use max power special attacks and teleport. No character in the game can use regular special attacks and teleport.

Teleport Special Attack 2

Flurry of Hits

This appears to be related to an unused Rush Attack sequence. This does more damage than normal Square attacks and will push back the enemy. Once the animation is initiated, you cannot stop it until it is finished. It's also faster than regular attacks.

Max Power Dragon Rush Quick Special Attack

An unused version of a max power Dragon Rush attack exists in the game. It does far less damage than normal.

Unused Audio Files

To do:
Add the Japanese audio of Dende mentioning the Wii controls. Also, there are still other unused audio files that here aren't shown.

In the PS2 version of the game are some audio files from the Wii version of the game in both Japanese and English. This happened most likely because both releases were developed at the same time. Here are some examples:

Wii Remote SpeakersThis file is listed as 'Progres(32609).adx' using AFSExplorer.
Nunchuck ControlsThis file is listed as 'Progres(32612).adx' using AFSExplorer.
Wii Remote RumbleThis file is listed as 'Progres(32616).adx' using AFSExplorer.
Wii Remote SensitivityThis file is listed as 'Progres(32617).adx' using AFSExplorer.
Motion ControlsThis file is listed as 'Progres(32623).adx' using AFSExplorer.

Unused Potaras

In the Potara list there is one that went unused. This is the 'Heavy Pressure' Potara (ID 72 DEC). That should be used only by evil characters (because have the blue badge where is wrote the slots used number). This is own data:

  • Cost: 4000 Z Points
  • Slots used: one
  • Used by: evil
  • Description: Takes longer for opponent to recover when rendered unconscious

You can spawn it the Item Shop, but you can't buy it. Through memory manipulation you can buy that Potara, but you will not able to use it, because own slot is cometely removed. Using the same method, you can spawn too Z Items that you will earn through battles (in short every that you can't buy), viewing own (unused) price. This is applied too to Red Potaras (where every costs 20000 Z Points). Unlike 'Heavy Pressure' when bought (also for them you need to manipulate memory) will appear in the list like a normal bought Potara, but this isn't applied too for Red Potaras. The unused prices are:

  • Broly's Ring: 4000 Z Points
  • Perfect Guard: 5000 Z Points
  • Eternal Life: 7000 Z Points
  • #18's Kiss, #17's Scarf and Medical Machine: 8000 Z Points
  • Water Blessing: 11000 Z Points
  • Miracle Master: 12000 Z Points
  • Halo, Demon Seal, Style of the Strong and Power Body: 14000 Z Points
  • Every Red Potara: 20000 Z Points
  • Combo Master, Quick Charge and Aura Charge Ultimate/3/4: 21000 Z Points
  • Miracle Sparking and Draconic Aura: 23000 Z Points
  • Ultimate Body: 25000 Z Points

In the game memory there are 180 Red Potaras, but near all are unused. There are eight 'Ultimate Warriors', 76 'Attack' and 'Defense' Potaras (from -25 to +75. Include a +0 Item), three health buffs, three general buffs and extreme increase of various stats, plus two Potaras exclusive to the Dragon History: 'Absolutely Invincible Body', where you are damage proof of any attack (every damage is zero) and 'Go To Hell', where any blast attack will make '99999 damage'.

Unused Character Costumes

To do:
Please, explain better..

In the game files all characters have eight texture files each, four for the costumes and four for the damaged variant. Since only a few characters use these slots, most of these files are empty and go unused.

SDK Leftovers

The Wii version has leftovers from the GameCube SDK.

Midi Files

The sound folder has two midi files.
